On August 20th, the Wanderlust Summer Series was back at the WIT office, and this month our guests got to see the world three completely different ways in a single afternoon: by river, by sea, and by land. Cody Phillips of AmaWaterways, Colin Price of Azamara Cruises, and Andy Boone of Collette Tours joined us for two hours of stories, savings, and more than a little daydreaming.

These three companies have been our partners for years, and watching our clients soak up every bit of it was seriously the cherry on top! Between a river cruise line, a small-ship ocean line, and a guided land-tour company, our advisors and guests had no shortage of notes to compare, and the conversations kept going and going.

AmaWaterways with Cody Phillips

Cody kicked things off with AmaWaterways, the river cruise line known for doing the small things beautifully. Their ships carry an average of just 156 guests, which keeps everything comfortable both on board and on shore. Sailings run through Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, and nearly everything is included in the cruise fare: up to six onshore experiences a day led by local guides, regionally inspired menus at every meal, a daily Sip & Sail cocktail hour, and a dedicated Cruise Manager who stays with you from start to finish.

There is plenty on the horizon, too. AmaWaterways is growing its fleet to more than 50 ships by 2032, with the brand-new AmaSofia joining the Rhine and Danube this season.

Right now, guests can save up to $2,500 per stateroom on select 2026 and 2027 sailings. And exclusively for WIT clients, AmaWaterways is adding a $100 per person onboard credit for anyone who deposits before September 30th.

Azamara Cruises with Colin Price

Colin brought Azamara; the award-winning small-ship line built around what they call destination immersion, seeing each place through the eyes of a local. Their four boutique ships, Journey, Quest, Pursuit, and Onward, are sized to reach smaller ports the big ships cannot, and their itineraries lean into longer stays, more overnights, and evening touring so you get real time in a place.

A couple of things set Azamara apart. Every voyage includes their signature AzAmazing Evenings, exclusive after-dark events built around local culture, and the Always Azamara inclusions cover dining, drinks, gratuities, and unlimited laundry.

Right now, Azamara has two ways to save. Through September 30th, their More to Discover Event adds up to $1,000 in onboard credit on select sailings, which you can put toward shore excursions, spa time, or a nice dinner out at sea. And if you like to plan ahead, their Early Booking Bonus takes 30% off any sailing you book at least 18 months out, good through the end of the year. Either one pairs with the Always Azamara inclusions already built into your fare.

Collette Tours with Andy Boone

Andy represented Collette, one of the most trusted names in guided travel. Founded in 1918, Collette brings more than a century of experience and runs over 170 guided tours across all seven continents. What stands out is how they travel: local guides who are genuinely part of the communities you visit, small-group options for a more personal pace, and details handled from door to door, including a private ride to and from the airport, a travel protection plan, and 24/7 support while you are away.

The timing is good, too. Through September 30th, Collette’s September Sale lets couples save up to $1,500, and the savings are stackable, so the more you personalize your trip, the more you save.
