On June 22nd, the Wanderlust Summer Series continued with an afternoon that carried our clients from classic ocean liners all the way to the edge of the map. Peter Hayes of Holland America and Seabourn, along with Mallory Hayes of Lindblad Expeditions, joined us at the WIT office for two hours of stories, stateroom tours, and more than a few daydreams about Caribbean sunsets and Antarctic ice.
Between the two of them, our guests got a real feel for just how differently you can see the world, from the polish of a classic ocean voyage to the thrill of tracking wildlife by Zodiac. Our clients and our advisors couldnโt get enough, trading notes on staterooms and shore excursions long after the presentations wrapped.
Holland America & Seabourn with Peter Hayes

Peter came representing two classic names in cruising. Holland America has been sailing since 1873, and that heritage shows in the details: destination-rich itineraries on nearly every continent, a private island in the Bahamas, and three-time recognition for โBest Serviceโ from Cruise Critic.

The showstopper of his presentation was the new Pan Am 100th Anniversary Legendary Voyage, a 28-day sailing that retraces Pan Amโs historic Clipper route through 19 ports and 13 countries, with Golden Age of Travel touches worked in throughout.

He also shared current savings on Caribbean, Mexico, and Panama Canal sailings, good through July 23rd. Then thereโs Seabourn, Holland Americaโs ultra-luxury sister line, already looking ahead to 2028, when it turns 40. The milestone will be celebrated with a โRuby Jubileeโ collection of anniversary sailings across the fleet, worth keeping an eye on if ultra-luxury, small-ship travel is on your radar.
Mallory brought the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions story, and the room leaned in. Lindblad pioneered expedition travel, leading the first tourist voyages to Antarctica in 1966 and the Galรกpagos in 1967, and that same spirit of discovery still drives every sailing: small ships, veteran naturalists, cultural specialists, and photographers who turn every landing into a lesson.

Malloryโs focus was on two bucket-list regions in particular, the wildlife-rich Galรกpagos Islands and the otherworldly landscapes of Antarctica, both built for travelers who want to get close to the world instead of just looking at it from a balcony.
Right now, WIT clients booking on National Geographic-branded ships get a $200 shipboard credit per cabin on top of Lindbladโs 50% reduced deposit for voyages departing October 2026 through 2027. Book by July 22nd to lock it in.
